Data Deletion Instructions

You can request deletion of your bilnr account and personal data at any time. Adalwin Commerce LLP (the operator of bilnr) will process verifiable deletion requests in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the EU GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act).
01.What Data Will Be Deleted
On a verified deletion request, we will permanently remove:
- Your account profile (username, display name, avatar, bio, contact details).
- Your authentication credentials and any active sessions or device tokens.
- Your wear logs, NFC tap history, XP records, badges, and leaderboard entries.
- Your community content (posts, comments, reactions, follows). We may retain anonymized references where required to preserve others' content (e.g., your reply on someone else's post may be replaced with "deleted user").
- Your linkages between physical garments (NFC chip IDs) and your account. The garment and its number remain valid and can be re-claimed by a future verified owner via NFC tap.
- Marketing preferences, analytics IDs, and cookie identifiers.
02.What We Are Required to Retain
By law, we must retain certain records even after a deletion request. These are minimized, access-restricted, and used only for the stated legal purpose:
- Order, invoice, and tax records — up to 8 years (Indian Income Tax Act § 149 and GST regulations).
- Anti-fraud and abuse signals — if your account was involved in fraud, abuse, or chargebacks, we may retain the minimum data needed to enforce our Terms and prevent recurrence.
- Legal holds — if data is subject to active litigation, regulatory investigation, or law-enforcement request.
- Backups — encrypted backups have a rolling 90-day retention. Your data is overwritten in backups within that window.
03.How to Request Deletion
You can request deletion through any of these methods:
Method A · In the bilnr iOS app (fastest)
- Open the bilnr iOS app.
- Tap the Profile tab, scroll to the bottom, and tap DELETE ACCOUNT.
- Confirm in the alert that appears. Deletion begins immediately and your sign-in is revoked at the same time.
Method B · Email
Send an email to privacy@adalwin.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- The email address or username associated with your account.
- A short statement: "I request deletion of my bilnr account and associated personal data."
- Confirmation of the email address from which you are sending the request (we use this to verify your identity).
Method C · Postal mail
Send a written request to the Grievance Officer at the address below. Include the same information listed for email requests, plus a self-attested copy of your photo ID for verification.

04.Verification & Timeline
We will verify the request to make sure it comes from the rightful account holder. This typically involves matching the requesting email address to the email on file or asking you to authenticate via your sign-in provider.
- Acknowledgement: within 7 working days of receipt.
- Completion: within 30 days of verification, in accordance with the DPDP Act and GDPR.
- Confirmation: we will notify you when deletion is complete.
If the request is unusually complex or involves multiple jurisdictions, we may extend the period by up to 60 additional days and will inform you of the reason.
05.Deleting Data Held by Meta
If bilnr's services have shared event data with Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) through pixels, conversions API, or business tools, you can also independently:
- Visit Meta's Account Center → Information and permissions to review and delete activity off-Meta.
- Use Meta's Data Deletion Request form for content held by Meta.
- Email us at privacy@adalwin.com and we will instruct Meta to delete event data tied to your identifiers, where technically possible.
06.Effect on Physical Garments & Numbers
Deleting your account does not destroy or void your physical bilnr garments. The numbers you owned will be released and can be re-claimed by a future verified owner via NFC tap, subject to our Terms. If you want to transfer your numbers to another bilnr user before deletion, do so via the in-app transfer flow first.
